You will help assemble a monthly financial packet and present financial statements to clients.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Successful candidates have a strong experience in QBO and Xero. Ideal candidates are also advanced in Excel and have a strong business acumen.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">This role is solutions-oriented and requires proactive engagement to ensure client success.</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Oversee month-end closing and all key accounting-related activities for clients - accurate and timely circulation of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits and annual budgets</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Cash Flow projection (and updates) and communicating cash position to clients</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Financial Package Creation: Ensuring proper margin recognition, Reconciling/Recording transactions (Sales, Deferrals, Accruals, Returns, Discounts, Write-offs), Monitoring Sales Orders (wholesale), etc.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Inventory Management including: Good understanding of Inventory, Reconciling inventory (Physical, Sub to GL), Accruals, Samples, Inventory adjustments, Obsolescence, Monitor POs, etc.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Reconciliation of bank and credit card statements</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Reconciliation of other payment accounts (e.g. PayPal, Stripe, etc)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and thorough understanding of amortization schedules</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Manage Accounts Receivable and Payables</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Manage AR aging reports for clients</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Manage AP in Bill.com (or related software) for clients</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Payroll management for clients</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work with FinanceWithin management to support the team</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support as a consultant to clients on accounting related work</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">General ledger accountability, financial analysis, financial reporting, and special reports, financial profitability analysis, other special projects as assigned</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">6+ years of experience in full cycle accounting</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">2+ years of experience in a multi-client or consulting role</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Advanced in QBO and Xero</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with e-commerce is a big plus (Shopify, PayPal, Bill.com,etc)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Firm grasp of accounting principles</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Excellent analytical and communication skills</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proactive and team-centric attitude</p></li></ul>
