This role will cover a variety of tasks and accounting functions including cash reconciliations, expense allocations, consolidation, assistance with technical matters, and prepaid and fixed asset accounting.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>Position Responsibilities</strong></h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">Core duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Manages the parent Crete PA Holdco entity monthly including the master bank account reconciliation with sweep/ZBA functionality, fixed asset and prepaid accounting, and P&L review.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Owns and improves corporate expense allocations, including allocation methodology, supporting schedules, and monthly true-ups.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Manages cash activity in a cash sweep / ZBA environment across a large number of subsidiaries, including intercompany funding and reconciliations as needed.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Assists with Payroll GL entries from UKG system.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Performs payroll cost analysis, reporting, and variance explanations to support close and business partners.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Manages the insurance expense allocation process monthly.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Assists the Director of Technical Accounting with the monthly debt and interest entries.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Manages the consolidated deferred seller note schedule and responsible for monthly interest entries.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Manages the consolidated earnout schedule and responsible for monthly interest entries.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Assists in managing the monthly consolidation workbook and assists the Director of Technical accounting with intercompany eliminations.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Assists in managing the monthly firm level and consolidated cash flow model.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Prepare and review certain recurring and non-recurring monthly journal entries.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Identify areas for streamlining and implementing best practices for fast-paced growth.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Assist with ad hoc projects as requested by the accounting team. Examples could be assisting with opening balance sheet requests, technical accounting projects, firm level labor analyses, special report/model building, gross profit analyses, etc.</p></li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in accounting or finance</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">3+ years of relevant work experience</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal communication.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Clear and conceptual thinking ability.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Excellent judgment and discretion; can recognize and elevate problems, identify possible causes and resolve routine issues.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting requirements.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Friendly, courteous, professional, outgoing, and customer-service oriented.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Able to remain calm and professional in stressful situations; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Detail-oriented and works effectively under pressure while meeting applicable deadlines.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Prior role within multi-entity environment and knowledge of consolidation process</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Previous experience with full cycle GL close</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with acquisitions and opening balance sheet accounting</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with corporate allocations and allocation methodology</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience working in a cash sweep / ZBA environment across a large number of subsidiaries</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with payroll cost analysis and reporting</p></li></ul><h2><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">The total rewards package at Current includes base salary, bonus, and benefits.<br><br>Our salary ranges are competitive within the accounting industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry.
