The primary objective of this role is to create high-quality conference programs by conducting market research, developing conference agendas, securing industry-leading speakers, and collaborating with internal teams to drive the success and growth of assigned events.</p><p><b>Position Level:</b> Experienced<br><b>Job Type:</b> FT International Consultant<br><b>Location:</b> Remote<br><strong>Important: Only English resumes and cover letters will be considered.</strong><br><br><strong><u>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: </u></strong></p><ul><li>Produce assigned conferences from concept through execution, including agenda development, speaker recruitment, content creation, and event planning</li><li>Conduct market research to identify industry trends, emerging topics, key challenges, and opportunities relevant to assigned conferences</li><li>Analyze research and industry feedback to develop conference agendas that address market needs and deliver value to attendees and sponsors</li><li>Identify, recruit, and manage speakers, moderators, and industry experts for conference participation</li><li>Build and maintain professional relationships with industry leaders, executives, speakers, sponsors, and attendees</li><li>Collaborate with Audience Development, Sponsorship Sales, Marketing, and Conference Coordination teams to support event growth and execution</li><li>Monitor conference performance and contribute to strategies that support attendance, sponsorship revenue, and overall event success</li><li>Maintain accurate records of speaker communications, event updates, and related activity within internal systems and CRM platforms</li><li>Attend and oversee live conferences, including speaker management, opening and closing remarks, session moderation, and onsite event execution as needed</li><li>Support audience development and sponsorship initiatives when necessary to help ensure the success of assigned events</li><li>Participate in team meetings, planning discussions, and ongoing event strategy development</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul><li>A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred</li><li>Valid U.S. entry visa required</li><li>Advanced English skills in verbal and written communication are required</li><li>3+ years of conference production experience or related experience in conference programming, event content development, journalism, communications, or a similar field</li><li>Strong research, analytical, and information-gathering skills</li><li>Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to develop professional conference agendas and related content</li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously</li><li>Professional and confident communication skills, including the ability to interact with senior executives and industry leaders</li><li>Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work</li><li>Creativity, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving</li><li>Willingness and ability to travel to support live conferences and onsite event execution</li></ul><u><strong>Benefits & Work Environment:</strong></u><br>At Opal Group, we value our employees and offer a comprehensive and supportive work culture.
