About the position

This role is for a Member Specialist at AAA Central Penn, working in their branches or new Giant store locations. The Member Specialist will be the \"friendly face\" of AAA, assisting members with a variety of services including travel advice, notary services, and passport photos. The job emphasizes helping members, engaging with customers, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Helping members with sign-ups, renewals, and all things AAA.
  • Issuing EZPasses, maps, travel gear, and attraction tickets.
  • Guiding members to our amazing travel and insurance experts.
  • Becoming a Notary Public (we’ll help you get there!).
  • Taking passport and international driver’s permit photos.
  • Sharing the perks of AAA’s full suite of services.
  • Planning cool road trips or booking hotels and renting cars for excited travelers.
  • Keeping our space welcoming and organized.
  • Engaging in natural conversation and engaging customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A passion for helping people (customer service experience is a plus!).
  • Willingness to become a Notary Public (we’ll support you!).
  • Clear communication skills—whether in person, on the phone, or online.
  • A flexible, can-do attitude and a love for learning new things.
  • Tech-savviness to navigate our systems with ease.
