THE TEAM

The Product Strategy and Operations team serves as an enabling function of Product at Eventbrite. Our focus is driving efficiency at scale through the implementation and governance of programs, processes, and tools across the product lifecycle. We do this within Product, Engineering, and Design, and in partnership with other functions. Our scope focuses broadly on the product lifecycle, from amplifying customer voices to strategic planning, through standard product development processes to launching products to the market with the vision of instilling more consistent alignment, coordination, customer empathy, value delivery, and accountability at every step.

THE ROLE

You Will

As a Senior Program Manager on the Product Strategy and Operations team you will be focused on managing and driving programs and projects for the Product Organization:

  • Build and manage the Product Organization’s internal capability roadmap consisting of a portfolio of projects
  • Identify areas of opportunity or continuous improvement for the Organization
  • Think critically and analytically to identify solutions to areas of opportunity you identify
  • Stand up and deliver programs / projects to implement new or continuously improve capabilities for the organization
  • Provide project ownership and delivery including the full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or multiple smaller projects simultaneously
  • Provide status reporting on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues
  • Help to identify and engage the right resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
  • Work collaboratively across a cross-functional stakeholder group to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Help to establish practices, templates, and tools to mature the program mgmt capability for the organization.
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of projects
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and lead the project management team meetings

THE SKILL SET

  • 7+ years in program management, operations, or consulting roles
  • Experience working cross-functionally and removing roadblocks in complex organizations
  • Demonstrated track record of driving company-wide program, process, and/or tool implementations
  • Proven experience with using business acumen, data, and change management frameworks for successful adoptions and continued consumption of people programs
  • Experience driving strategic alignment efforts with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Experience with and understanding of the role of Product in an organization
  • Demonstrated experience identifying, designing, and implementing multiple programs and projects
  • Proven ability to build trust with and influence stakeholders of multiple seniority levels, across technical roles, customer-facing roles, and executives
  • Mastery in creating effective structure out of ambiguity
  • Strong prioritization and focus, including comfort making tradeoffs with incomplete information
  • Adept at thinking strategically and maintaining a big picture perspective
  • Raw intellectual horsepower and a growth mindset
  • Passion for high quality products and their impact on Eventbrite’s event creators and attendees

BONUS POINTS

  • Prior experience with a Product Operations team specifically or in Product Management or Management Consulting
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Experience using Eventbrite’s product as a creator and/or attendee
