The Red Hat Central U.S. Enterprise team is looking for an Account Executive to join us in the Indianapolis, Cincinnati, or Atlanta metro areas (other areas will be considered given travel requirements and customer locations). In this role, you will be assigned specific accounts and work to gain a better understanding of the challenges they face. You will collaborate with customers and teammates to discover new opportunities, use past solutions as blueprints for future success, and build relationships to guide technical and business decision making. We'll need you to have experience selling enterprise-class business technology solutions to large enterprises, managing long-term strategic customer relationships, and leading teams of peers in the pursuit of both.</span></p><p></p><p><b><b>What you will do:</b></b><br> </p><p><span>Sell the complete Red Hat portfolio of solutions within assigned enterprise accounts while achieving sales goals</span><br><span>* Promote the Red Hat value proposition to prospective customers within a highly competitive market</span><br><span>* Manage complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing</span><br><span>* Maintain and develop new relationships within your assigned accounts</span><br><span>* Provide leadership to an extended team of product specialists, technologists, and professional services managers</span><br><span>* Excel and over achieve quota within a fast-paced organization</span></p><p></p><p><b><b>What you will bring:</b></b><br><span>* 5+ years of sales experience in the enterprise technology space</span><br><span>* Experience selling in direct and partner models</span><br><span>* Knowledge of and passion for open source technology</span><br><span>* Solid understanding of cloud technology and how it enables the customer’s core mission</span><br><span>* Ability to call vertically and horizontally into your accounts</span><br><span>* Proven ability to successfully work with application development, enterprise architecture, operations, leadership (C-Suite), and the lines of business teams within an account</span><br><span>* Demonstrated market knowledge and superior understanding of the competitive landscape</span><br><span>* History of exceptional quota attainment and ability to close business within time constraints</span></p><p><span>* The ability to travel up to 75% of the time to build strategic personal relationships with clients.</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>The salary range for this position is $243,440.00 - $401,540.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.<p></p><p><b>Pay Transparency</b></p><p>Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity.
