Manager, Rewards (Americas Region)

Adyen is seeking a Manager, Rewards for the Americas Region (Brazil, Canada, Mexico and the United States) who is excited to join the Global People team to contribute to the growth and scale of the company. Our ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, is highly data-driven, analytical, takes ownership, works collaboratively and is not afraid to roll-up-their-sleeves to get work done. This role will be located in San Francisco, CA and report to the VP, Global Rewards.

This role will impact Adyen as a player coach, leading a team of compensation & benefits experts, and partner closely with HR, Recruiting, and Business Leadership teams to develop and implement compensation & benefits strategies, policies, and programs that attract and retain top talent with a focus on compensation. The successful candidate will provide strategic insights into our rewards design and structure, support global hiring efforts, and ensure our offerings remain equitable and competitive for our teams in the Americas Region.

What you will do

  • Work with key partners to implement strategic decisions, facilitate compensation & benefits design and inform key decisions for teams across the region.
  • Provide comprehensive support to HR and business leadership teams, including program design, administration, reporting, planning, budgeting, and specific analyses.
  • Co-create the year-end compensation process across multiple business areas from start to finish with peers on the Rewards team.
  • Support market compensation & benefits survey and benchmarking processes, analyze results, and use findings to drive innovation in compensation plans.
  • Partner with the Recruiting team and Hiring Leaders to develop competitive new hire offer packages and manage related data.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders on project delivery, managing multiple work streams and competing priorities.
  • Contribute to the implementation and communication of compensation & benefits programs.
  • Work with large amounts of data and build mechanisms to streamline processes and balance risks.

Who you are

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in compensation and/or people analytics, preferred.
  • A builder - you embrace the science and art of compensation and apply both to creating something unique that is truly Adyen.
  • A player coach who develops and guides a high-performing team while successfully balancing strategic program design with hands-on execution.
  • An analytical thinker with high data literacy and ability to transform data into actionable guidance that supports the Adyen business.
  • Someone with knowledge of compensation & benefits principles, market trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices - you are comfortable looking around the corner at what is next.
  • An energetic, self-starter with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Someone with experience and comfort working with large, complex data sets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to distill complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented professional with a proven track record of handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Technology industry compensation experience required, Financial Technology experience preferred.
