Job description:
We’re looking for a part-time Social Media Manager to help grow our audience, strengthen our online presence, and bring our brand voice to life across social platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and hands-on. You should be confident planning content, writing copy, publishing posts, engaging with the audience, and using performance data to improve results over time.

The right candidate is creative, organised, dependable, and understands how to turn ideas into content that feels clear, relevant, and on-brand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a social media content calendar
  • Plan, write, schedule, and publish content across relevant social platforms
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual direction
  • Engage with followers through comments, direct messages, and community interaction
  • Monitor performance and provide regular reporting with insights and recommendations
  • Stay current on platform trends, content formats, and best practices
  • Support campaigns, launches, and promotional initiatives through social content
  • Collaborate with internal team members or creative partners as needed
  • Test new ideas and optimise content based on engagement and performance

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content strategy
  • Strong copywriting and written communication skills
  • Experience managing brand accounts and increasing engagement
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools and analytics platforms
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and similar platforms

Preferred qualifications

  • Canva or basic design experience
  • Experience with short-form video content
  • Experience working with storytelling brands, personal brands, or community-driven brands
