About the role:

Lead High-Impact Last Mile Operations at SpeedX

SpeedX is a rapidly growing logistics provider delivering innovative last mile delivery solutions across the U.S. We are seeking a results‑driven Hub / Service Center Manager to lead operations at a critical final mile facility.

This is a high‑visibility leadership role responsible for both hub (sortation) operations and service center (delivery execution) . You will own end‑to‑end performance—from inbound parcel flow to final delivery—ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Hub (Sortation) Operations

  • Lead all aspects of parcel sortation, including receiving, scanning, sorting, staging, and dispatch
  • Drive performance across key KPIs:
  • Throughput and production volume
  • Sort accuracy
  • Cost control
  • Optimize staffing, scheduling, and workflow planning for high‑volume operations
  • Enforce safety, compliance, and standard operating procedures across the warehouse

Service Center (Last Mile Delivery)

  • Oversee last mile delivery operations, including routing, dispatch, and execution
  • Optimize delivery routes and fleet utilization for efficiency and service quality
  • Manage driver performance and accountability to meet on‑time delivery targets
  • Resolve delivery issues, delays, and escalations with a strong customer‑first mindset

Leadership & Cross‑Functional Impact

  • Analyze operational data, KPIs, and reporting to drive continuous improvement
  • Partner with regional operations, HR, finance, and customer service teams
  • Recruit, train, and develop high‑performing teams across warehouse and delivery functions
  • Build a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and all regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in last mile logistics, parcel hub, or service center operations management
  • Proven ability to lead high‑volume, fast‑paced logistics operations
  • Strong understanding of logistics KPIs, cost management, and performance metrics
  • Experience with routing systems, TMS, WMS, or dispatch software
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership, coaching, and performance management
  • Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • Experience in a 3PL, e‑commerce, or final mile delivery environment
  • Fast‑paced warehouse and delivery operations setting
  • Requires active, hands‑on leadership (standing, walking, operational oversight)
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, peak seasons, and extended hours as needed
