Hours per day: 11.5 or as assigned

Rotation: 3x3 or as assigned

Reports to: VMS Supervisor/Operations Manager/Plant Supervisor

Purpose of Position:

Service a fleet of Light Trucks, and Equipment, performing preventative maintenance (lube oil/filter, check hoses, lights, fluids, tires, fluid changes).

Educational Requirements:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.

Experience and Background:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the automotive industry, vocational technical school.

Certificates, Licenses and Requirements:

  • Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile, truck and equipment.
  • Team player with good customer service, communication skills and very safe work ethics.
  • Must be able to read and interpret instructions & manuals.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (oral and written), able to follow instructions and adhere to company policies & procedures.
  • North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) Card preferred, not required.
  • Valid Driver License that meets ICE Services insurance criteria.
  • Ability to adhere to strict policy and procedures per company and OSHA requirements.
  • Must pass a pre-hire drug test, breath alcohol test, occupational fitness test, criminal background check and computer-based testing.
  • Pass a motor vehicle report and possess an acceptable safe driving record.
  • Commercial Driver’s license class B or better required with air brake endorsement (preferred).
  • DOT/medical card required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Assist in other work areas/tasks as required.
  • Rotational schedule of at least 11.50 per day for a minimum of 21 days consecutively as required.
  • Ability to lift & carry 50 pounds on regular basis, routine walking, standing, bending. There is a lack of immediate access to critical medical services as well as urban community services.
