Job Description:

Lifeline Express Courier LLC is seeking reliable and professional Medical Courier Drivers to join our team in the Atlanta area. Medical couriers play a critical role in the healthcare system by transporting medical specimens, lab samples, pharmaceuticals, and sensitive healthcare materials safely and efficiently between hospitals, laboratories, clinics, and medical facilities.

This position requires strong attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handling procedures for medical deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick up and deliver medical specimens, lab samples, and medical supplies
  • Follow scheduled routes and time-sensitive delivery requirements
  • Maintain proper chain-of-custody procedures for all medical items
  • Ensure packages are handled safely and securely
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding deliveries and route updates
  • Maintain a clean and reliable personal vehicle
  • Follow all HIPAA and safety guidelines

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 30+ years old
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • SUV, Vans or Box Truck with current insurance required
  • Smartphone with GPS capability
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Professional attitude and strong time management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous courier, delivery, or medical transport experience (not require)
  • Knowledge of the Atlanta metro area
  • Experience with time-sensitive deliveries
