Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of administrative support duties such as conducting research, gathering data, preparing spreadsheets and other similar functions
  • Assist in resolving business issues using systems and data
  • Analyze, generate, and maintain records and other reference material necessary for departmental use
  • Perform any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful

Requirements

  • High school or GED required
  • A junior, senior, or graduate student attending an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Proficiency in computer applications, and ability to work effectively with various levels of staff
  • Advanced knowledge of research protocols
  • Can perform intermediate level of word/excel programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Writing skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work effectively with various levels of staff
  • Ability to compose professional level correspondence
