Ruvimo is hiring expert High School Math Tutors from India & Philippines to teach students in the United States through 1:1 online classes. You will work with Grade 9–12 learners and support them in subjects like Algebra, Geometry, Pre‑Calculus, Calculus, as well as SAT Math and AP courses (AP Calculus AB/BC and AP Statistics preferred). We do not use fixed slides or scripted curriculum. Every session is customised based on the student’s level, schoolwork and learning gaps — so this role requires strong clarity, adaptability and high teaching ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Teach US high‑school students (Grades 9–12) core Math subjects: Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre‑Calculus, Calculus
  • Prepare students for SAT Math, ACT Math, and AP Math exams
  • Diagnose learning gaps quickly and adapt lessons each session
  • Explain complex concepts in clear, simple steps
  • Use digital tools effectively (Zoom, pen tablet, online whiteboards)
  • Share progress updates with parents professionally
  • Maintain a stable, well‑lit, noise‑free online teaching environment

Must‑Have Qualifications

  • Exceptional English communication (neutral or lightly American accent)
  • Strong mastery of High School Math (Algebra → Calculus)
  • 20+ hours weekly availability during US hours
  • Approx. 3:00 AM – 10:00 AM PH Time
  • Not a full‑time college student
  • Professional on‑camera presence with reliable setup (lighting, headset, internet)
  • Ability to teach without a fixed curriculum — comfortable customising lessons

Preferred

  • Experience teaching US students of diverse backgrounds, not only Filipino or Asian students
  • SAT/ACT tutoring experience
  • AP Calculus AB/BC or AP Statistics experience
  • Prior online tutoring experience
  • Skilled with Zoom, Google Meet, Jamboard, Miro, and pen tablets
