6/08-6/12, 6/15-6/19*, 6/22-6/26, 6/29-7/03*, 7/6-7/10, 7/13-7/17, 7/20-7/24, 7/27-7/31, 8/03-8/07

Destination Science is the FUN day camp for curious kids ages 5-11.  Our camps follow a traditional camp schedule.  There are 2 science stations in the morning and 1 science station in the afternoon.  Between building the robots, launching rockets and solving science mysteries, we engage in outside action with games, songs, rallies, and spirit days. The day is planned, structured & busy!!  We are looking for teachers and assistants who like to have fun with kids and like science.  Fun paid mandatory training is provided for all staff.

Teacher Positions:  25-40 hours per week - Full Day Teachers will teach 3 science stations daily along with supervising outdoor games & activities.  Most positions are full day.

Site Assistant positions:  16-32 hours per week based on location (minimum wage) – assist campers/teachers, lead games, and assist with extended care kids.

OVERVIEW OF STAFF HOURS & POSITIONS:

Destination Science has full-time and part-time Teacher positions available: Campers arrive from 9am-3:00pm.  We also offer extended care from 8am-9am and 3:00-530pm.  Staff will be asked to rotate extended care shifts.  Staff will be scheduled at one or more locations for 4 or more weeks this summer depending on your availability and location.

  • Full Time: 8am-3:30pm (M-F)

  • AM Part Time: 7:45am-1pm (M-F)

  • PM Part Time: 11:30am- 3:30pm (M-F) or 11:30am-5pm some locations

  • Substitute/On-Call
